Represntative Hudson and fellow Representatives Dorworth, Horner and Crisafulli called upon the Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink to do the right thing and to allow an outside investigation of her usage of the state aircraft. The office of CFO has oversight of the state aircraft and it would be an obvious conflict of interest to investigate yourself. “The next time the IRS comes to do an audit ask them if you can do it yourself” commented Representative Hudson when asked about the issue. Clearly the taxpayers of Florida deserve to know that an investigation into the usage of taxpayer resources is being conducted fairly and with their interests in mind. “The fact that the CFO chose not to do this clearly confirms that common sense is just not so common” stated Hudson.
