Rep. Matt Hudson this week defended the public’s rights to have access to public lands. These lands are purchased with tax money and as such should allow for access to the person that owns them the taxpayer. This battle was regarding the The Big Cypress National Preserve addition lands and the desire to infringe on access and 2nd amendment rights by the National Park Service and Environmenmtal groups. “The plan is bordering on almost irrational behavior” stated Hudson at public hearing.
